UNION COUNTY FAIR TO HAVE TALENT CONTEST

If you think you can sing, then you might be the next Union County Fair Teen Idol,
according to Gene Kirby, Fair Director. The contest will be held on stage on the final
day of the Union County Fair, which runs from July 2
0rd to July 27th. The contest will
be open for teen-age boys and girls, and must be residents of Union County. Gray
Fox Audio Sensations, a local DJ music service, will in part, sponsor the event with
the Eagle's 3506 Chapter. There will be a panel of judges selected from t
he music
industry. A large cash prize will be awarded to the winner. "This is the first year of this
type of program,” Kirby said. "It will give the kids something extra to do at this years
fair, and a excellent showcase for Union County talent" he added. Participates must
have an official entry form on file by the close of the first day of the fair. For more
